Some 3,000 mt of daily rebar output will be affected as Desheng Steel undertook maintenance on a 450m³ blast furnace

SHANGHAI, Jun 20 (SMM) – Some 3,000 mt of daily rebar output will be affected as Desheng Steel in Sichuan province undertook maintenance on one of its 450m³ blast furnaces on Wednesday June 20.

Maintenance is expected to last 18 days. Steel smelting will be affected for 15 days, and operations of the plant's electrical system for 18 days.
