SHANGHAI, May 22 (SMM) – To crack down on ditiao steel, induction furnaces across Dainan town in Jiangsu province will shut permanently from May 24, the town's government announced on Tuesday May 22.

Induction furnaces across Dainan produce about 100,000 mt of crude stainless steel every month, accounting for 5% of overall output in China, SMM learned.
