Long steel inventories in Guangzhou fall for six consecutive weeks

Social inventories of long steel in Guangzhou, Guangdong province fell 7.3% on the week and stood at 1.72 million mt as of Thursday April 26

SHANGHAI, Apr 26 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel in Guangzhou, Guangdong province fell 7.3% on the week and stood at 1.72 million mt as of Thursday April 26, SMM data showed.

Inventories shrank 136,100 mt from a week ago, and this marked the sixth consecutive week of decline.

Rebar inventories shrank 77,900 mt to 1.14 million mt and stocks of wire rod dropped 58,200 mt to 583,100 mt.
