Jiangsu sees third round of environmental checks since Apr 18

SHANGHAI, Apr 25 (SMM) – To conduct month-long environmental inspections, three provincial inspection teams have settled in Changzhou, Huai'an, and Zhenjiang of Jiangsu province as of Tuesday April 24, SMM learned. The inspection will cover industries such as steel, cement, and building materials. 

Inspections will end on May 23. During this time, teams will communicate with the three cities through designated hotlines and postal services. Currently, production across steel mills have not seen significant impact from the teams' settlements.

This is the third round of environmental inspections in the province since the Xuzhou inspections ended on April 18.
