SHANGHAI, Apr 23 (SMM) – Jiangsu Shente Steel plans to extend its maintenance of a 450m³ furnace by 10 days after April 30, when the maintenance was originally slated to end, SMM learned. About 2,000 mt daily output of molten iron will be affected. Current maintenance works began from March 15.
Separately, Jiangsu Yonggang Group plans to carry out maintenance at its steel bar plant from April 24 to 30. An estimated 3,000 mt of rebar production will be affected daily.
