SHANGHAI, Apr 12 (SMM) – Some 30 major flat steel producers plan to produce a total of 8.68 million mt of hot-rolled coil and plate in April, according to an SMM survey.
The volume would be 1.8% higher, or 151,200 mt more, than the actual output in March.
While exports are expected to be 776,500 mt in April, up 88,000 mt from March’s volumes, domestic sales are planned at 7.9 million mt, up 63,200 mt on the month.
