Snapshot: Seaborne iron ore trade flow Mar 30-Apr 5

Seventy vessels carrying 9.54 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during March 30-April 5

SHANGHAI, Apr 2 (SMM) – Seventy vessels carrying 9.54 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during March 30-April 5, SMM learned. This is down 9.9% from 10.59 million mt during March 16-22.

From March 30-April 5, the volume of iron ore departing Australian ports is likely to dip 1.5% to 15.96 million mt, while those leaving Brazilian ports will decline 10.7% to 6.81 million mt.
