Flash: 4,500 mt daily output of molten iron disrupted by maintenance at Yinkou Steel

About 4,500 mt of daily molten iron output was affected as a blast furnace with capacity of 1,350 m³ at Yinkou Steel in Liaoning province underwent maintenance

SHANGHAI, Apr 2 (SMM) – About 4,500 mt of daily molten iron output was affected as a blast furnace with capacity of 1,350 m³ at Yinkou Steel in Liaoning province underwent maintenance, SMM learned. Maintenance began on March 26 and regular operations are likely to resume in the second half of April. 

Additionally, a rolling line for wire rods and another for bars are also undergoing maintenance at Yinkou Steel. This is likely to affect about 90,000 mt of output.
