China’s social inventory of aluminium including SHFE warrants stood at 1.78 million mt on Thursday February 8, up 17,000 mt from a week ago, SMM data showed.

SHANGHAI, Feb 8 (SMM) – China’s social inventory of aluminium including SHFE warrants stood at 1.78 million mt on Thursday February 8, up 17,000 mt from a week ago, SMM data showed. This was mainly due to sluggish trading ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday next week.

Details are as follows:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 730,000 mt

Shanghai – 388,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 280,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 161,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 119,000 mt

Tianjin – 55,000 mt

Chongqing – 24,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 23,000 mt
