Flash: China's aluminium inventory remains steady

SHANGHAI, Feb 1 (SMM) – China’s social inventory of aluminium including SHFE warrants stood at 1.76 million mt on Thursday February 1, down a slight 2,000 mt from a week ago, SMM data showed. Logistics constraints have impacted some deliveries but SMM learned that the situation will gradually improve in February.

Details are as follows:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 727,000 mt

Shanghai – 385,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 272,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 158,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 119,000 mt

Tianjin – 56,000 mt

Chongqing – 24,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 22,000 mt
