Flash: China’s iron ore imports up 9.3% in Jan

China imported 100.34 million mt of iron ore in January, up 9.3% from January 2017, customs data showed.

SHANGHAI, Feb 8 (SMM) – China imported 100.34 million mt of iron ore in January, up 9.3% from January 2017, according to Chinese customs. The volume, also up from 84.14 million mt recorded in December 2017, marked the second highest monthly level in history.
