China imported 84.14 million mt of iron ore in December, down 11% from levels in November, Chinese customs data showed.

SHANGHAI, Jan 12 (SMM) - China imported 84.14 million mt of iron ore in December, down 11% from levels in November, Chinese customs data showed. This is also down 5.4% from December 2016. China’s total iron ore imports stood at 1.08 billion mt in 2017, up 5% from a year ago.
