China’s steel PMI drops to 50.2 in December

China’s steel purchasing managers’ index (PMI) in December stood at 50.2 points, down 2.9 points from November, according to data from China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing.

SHANGHAI, Jan 3 (SMM) - China’s steel purchasing managers’ index (PMI) in December stood at 50.2 points, down 2.9 points from November, according to data from China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing. However, it marked the eighth consecutive month that the reading stood above 50 which indicates expansion.
