China's November crude steel output up 2% year on year

China's crude steel output in November amounted to 66.15 million mt, up 2.2% from the same month last year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed. 

SHANGHAI, Dec 15 (SMM)-China's crude steel output in November amounted to 66.15 million mt, up 2.2% from the same month last year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed. 

Pig iron and steel products output last month stood at 54.88 million mt and 86.85 million mt, down 3.5% and 2.9% respectively on a yearly basis. 

Compared with October, both crude steel and pig iron output were down 5.5% whereas steel product output was down 2.2%.
