SHANGHAI, Dec 14 (SMM)－China's 2017 automobile output and sales volumes are set to reach 29 million units, up 3.5% from a year ago, according to Xu Haidong, assistance general sectary of China Association of Automobile Manufactures.
In 2018, however, the growth is forecast to be slower at 3%, he added. In the near term, China’s auto market is likely to keep a positive but small increase. While traditional sedans and commercial vehicles may see negative growth, SUV and new-energy vehicles would see a stronger growth.
