SHANGHAI, Dec 14 (SMM)－Baotou Steel said its coking plants have produced 4.43 million mt of coke from January to November, accounting for more than 97% of its annual target even though there have been a shortage of good-quality coking coal this year.
It added that the coke plants recorded a profit of 123 million yuan for the first 10 months of this year, exceeding its cost-cutting plan by almost 18 million yuan.
