Tangshan, Hebei launches emergent emission reduction measures for heavy pollution days, asking steel industry to limit production by 50%

On Sep 24th, Tangshan Government released Notification on Launching Emergent Emission Reduction Measures for Heavy Pollution Days.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 25 (SMM) –On Sep 24th, Tangshan Government released Notification on Launching Emergent Emission Reduction Measures for Heavy Pollution Days, which decides from 0 am Sep 25th, all emergent measures will be launched. Those measures of emergency reduction mainly include: the steel companies should do PSF and the sintering machine should limit production by 50%; coking companies should prolong the coke discharging time to over 36 hours; construction and removal sites and in Lunan, Lubei and Hi-tech Development District should stop earth work without exception.
