Rumor of Closures Proved Untrue at Secondary Lead Smelters across Anhui, SMM Says

Rumor has it that secondary lead smelters in Anhui suspended production recently. SMM finds this is fake news.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 22 (SMM) - Rumor has it that secondary lead smelters in Anhui suspended production recently. SMM finds this is fake news.

Only Taihe County Huanyu Chemical suspended production due to environmental protection checks, and other smelters all maintained normal production, SMM survey finds.

Secondary lead output is about 3,000 tonnes per day in Anhui, according to SMM statistics.
