China Rebar and Hot-rolled Inventories Drop This Week

According to SMM data, China’s rebar inventories were 4.80 million tonnes so far this week, down 61,900 tonnes from the level seen on Sept. 14, or down 1.3 per cent.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21 (SMM) – According to SMM data, China’s rebar inventories were 4.80 million tonnes so far this week, down 61,900 tonnes from the level seen on Sept. 14, or down 1.3 per cent.

Wire rod inventories were 1.27 million tonnes, up 42,200 tonnes or 3.4 per cent on a weekly basis. Over the same period, China’s hot-rolled inventories were 2.16 million tonnes, down 12,800 tonnes or 0.6 per cent on a weekly basis.
