Inventories of nickel ore at the Port of Lianyungang grew 50,000 wet tonnes on a weekly basis, Shanghai Metals Market reports.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 15 (SMM) – Inventories of nickel ore at the Port of Lianyungang grew 50,000 wet tonnes on a weekly basis, Shanghai Metals Market reports. 

As of Sept. 15, nickel ore inventories at the port were 2.45 million wet tonnes, according to SMM data. 

One Stainless Steel Mill in East China Cuts NPI Purchase Price

This past week, approximately 300,000 wet tonnes of ore arrived at the port, and new arrivals are expected to reach 340,000 wet tonnes.
