The central environmental protection inspection team arrived in Fengrun, one district of Tangshan.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 4 (SMM) – The central environmental protection inspection team arrived in Fengrun, one district of Tangshan. Rolling mills in the region, which have no pollution emission permits or licenses have expired, are required to suspend operations.

SMM learns that most of local section steel mills and rebar plants have halted production, and restart date remains unknown.
