SHANGHAI, Aug. 22 (SMM) – Sales of refined nickel have been negatively affected by environmental protection inspections, one refined nickel distributor told SMM.

The distributor, supplying refined nickel to electroplating producers in coast area, said its daily sales reduced from 15-18 tonnes to 4 tonnes due to production suspension at electroplating plants following environmental factor in Zhejiang and high temperature.
