Hebei Eliminates 20,000 Sets of Coal-Fired Furnaces in January-July 2017

SHANGHAI, Aug. 22 (SMM) – Hebei, promoting to supply heating by clean energy in winter days, has cracked down 20,379 sets of coal-fired furnaces in the first seven months of 2017.

Hebei closed down coal-fired furnaces, or switched those to central heating, power-fired and natural gas-fired furnaces.

Hebei Releases Output Cut Plans for Heating Season in Winter Days

By October, the government will shut down all coal-fired furnaces with capacity below 35 tonnes in urban areas, and those with capacity below 10 tonnes in countryside.
