China Rebar Stocks Continue Growing, Hot-Rolled Steel Stocks Fall further, SMM Says

Rebar stocks across China continued growing this week, while hot-rolled steel plate stocks continued falling.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 17 (SMM) – Rebar stocks across China continued growing this week, while hot-rolled steel plate stocks continued falling.

CISA Lobbying Chinese Authorities for Incentives to Steel Exports, SMM Reports

As of August 17, rebar stocks nationwide rose 1.2% week-on-week to 4.45 million tonnes, hot-rolled steel plate stocks dropped 0.5% week-on-week to 2.18 million tonnes, and steel wire rod stocks fell 2.3% week-on-week to 1.07 million tonnes, according to SMM statistics.
