China Sees Continuous Declines in Iron Ore Inventories, SMM Reports

China’s iron ore inventories at ports keep falling in the week ending Aug. 11 on a weekly basis, Shanghai Metals Market reports.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 11 (SMM) – China’s iron ore inventories at ports keep falling in the week ending Aug. 11 on a weekly basis, Shanghai Metals Market reports.

According to SMM data, inventories at the 35 domestic ports were 129.49 million tonnes this past week, down 1.85 million tonnes on a weekly basis. 

The daily average outflows from ports were 2.63 million tonnes this past week, up 164,000 tonnes, SMM data show.
