China July Finished Steel Exports Grow and Iron Ore Imports Fall in July

China’s finished steel exports in July were 6.96 million tonnes, up 2.2 per cent MoM, but down 32.4 per cent YoY.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 8 (SMM) – China’s finished steel exports in July were 6.96 million tonnes, up 2.2 per cent MoM, but down 32.4 per cent YoY. Finished steel imports were 0.98 million tonnes, down 13.3 per cent MoM and down 13.3 per cent YoY. 

Iron ore imports were 86.25 million tonnes in July, down 8.7 per cent MoM and 2.4 per cent YoY.
