SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM) - BMI Research, part of Fitch Group, revised down its outlook for Russian nickel production in 2017 from a 1 per cent growth to a 5 per cent drop, according to its statement.

BMI Research now expects Russia’s nickel output to fall from 256,000 tonne in 2016 to 243,000 tonne in 2017 due to operational challenges at Norilsk Nickel, which account for more than 80 per cent of the country’s output.
