Nornickel Reports 15 Per cent Decline in Nickel Output in Q2 2017, and Palladium Production Ups

SHANGHAI, Aug. 1 (SMM) - Norilsk Nickel (Nornickel) announced on Monday that its nickel output fell 15 per cent in Q2 on a yearly basis.

Nickel output at the world's top 2 nickel producer was 49,418 tonnes in the second quarter of the year, according to company’s data.  

The company increased palladium production by 41 per cent quarter-on-quarter to 781 000 oz.
