SHANGHAI, Jul. 24 (SMM) – China’s scrap steel exports shot up to 80,345 tonnes in May 2017 after breaking through 10,000 tonnes in April for the first time in history, up 954 times YoY and 4.3 times MoM.
Global Crude Steel Output Expands 3.2% YoY in June 2017
The exports were less than 1,000 tonnes in the first quarter of the year.
