Xinfa Group denied the rumor of one 1.1 million-tpy of illegal aluminum project.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 11 (SMM) – It rumors that environmental protection team has found 1.1 million-tpy of illegal aluminum capacities at Shandong Xinfa Group, which has not been approved by China’s National Development & Reform Commission and Ministry of Environmental Protection. Shandong Xinfa Group is one of China’s largest aluminum producers.

Person familiar with the matter says that the illegal aluminum capacity may be closed down, or replaced.
