Chihong Zn&Ge signed its first order for 3.2m2 anode and cathode plate recently with Wenshan Zinc & Indium, according to cnmn.com.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 26 (SMM) – Chihong Zn&Ge signed its first order for 3.2m2 anode and cathode plate recently with Wenshan Zinc & Indium, according to cnmn.com.

It sold 3,180 pieces of 3.2m2 anode plate and 5,472 pieces of cathode plate with the former company.

Zhuzhou Smelter to Build 8-10 Bln Yuan Copper-Lead-Zinc Base

This means the company’s anode and cathode plate is recognized by markets.

Boliden Q2 Profit Misses Expectations as Garpenberg Disruption and Odda Zinc Smelter Ramp-Up Delay Weigh

Swedish miner Boliden reported second-quarter adjusted operating profit of SEK2.87 billion, more than double the year-earlier level but below the market consensus of SEK3.26 billion and down from SEK4.43 billion in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the Odda zinc smelter expansion continues to ramp up more slowly than planned due to issues with a new roaster. The company also lowered its 2026 milled-volume forecast for the Tara mine by 200,000 tonnes to 1.6 million tonnes. Inventory build-up during maintenance shutdowns and the slow Odda ramp-up contributed to a quarterly free cash outflow of SEK2.11 billion and higher net debt.

EDM Resources Secures Key Approval for Scotia Zinc Mine Restart, Targets 2027 Production

EDM Resources has received an amended industrial approval from Nova Scotia’s Department of Environment and Climate Change for the planned restart of the Scotia zinc mine. The approval covers revisions to the mine layout, processing facilities, waste rock and tailings management systems, and supports the company’s updated pre-feasibility study. Located approximately 60 km northeast of Halifax, the past-producing Scotia mine is targeting a restart in 2027 and is expected to become Nova Scotia’s only primary zinc producer. EDM Resources is currently advancing federal Fisheries Act authorization, an updated mineral resource estimate, project financing and discussions with potential concentrate offtake partners.
