Semi finished steel exports from Brazil was seen to drop to about 19.6 percent to 483500 mt on the year, as per Ministry of Development and Trade data.

BRAZILIA (Scrap Register): Semi finished steel exports from Brazil was seen to drop to about 19.6 percent to 483500 mt on the year, as per Ministry of Development and Trade data.

The revenue from good however increased 39.9 percent to $213.2 million FOB. The total exports in April 2016 was totaled at 601200 mt and revenue was seen at 152.4 million FOB.

The average price of Brazil's semis exports in April rose 73.9% on the year to $441/mt FOB. In the year-ago month, it was $253.5/mt. 

Flat rolled steel exports of Brazil in April was seen to decline about 28.7 percent to 188200 mt on the year, while revenue increased 4.3 percent to $123.4 million on an FOB from a year ago.
