SHANGHAI, Mar. 23 (SMM) – On Thursday, SHFE 1705 nickel opened at RMB 83,200/mt and then advanced to RMB 83,700/mt. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1705 nickel declined to RMB 82,830/mt and ended at RMB 82,990/mt, down RMB 580/mt or 0.69%. Trading volumes dropped 73,000 to 310,000 lots and positions fell 27,000 to 414,000. SHFE 1705 nickel stopped a 4-day decline on Thursday but met pressure from the moving averages.
SHFE 1705 nickel will remain weak on Thursday’s night trading.
