SHANGHAI, Mar. 21 (SMM) - Tsingshan Group is expected to put online its 1 million tpy-#300 stainless steel project in Indonesia in Q3 2017, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

At present, Tsingshan Group’s NPI project in Indonesia has capacities of 120,000 tonnes (Ni content), and additional output of 30,000 tonnes (Ni content) is expected to be released in Q1 2017.

Effective April 22, 2026 (night session on April 21), nickel futures and options are open to overseas participants. First contracts: NI2605 and subsequent futures, with corresponding options. For margin, overseas traders may use USD at a 0.95 discount rate, valued at the daily RMB central parity rate. Account opening is available immediately.
