SHFE Tin Priced down 1.04% (2017-3-3)

SHFE 1705 tin opened at RMB 146,110/mt and finally closed at RMB 145,900/mt, down RMB 1,540/mt or 1.04%.
SHANGHAI, Mar. 3 (SMM) – SHFE 1705 tin declined with falling LME tin on Thursday’s night trading and closed at RMB 146,200/mt.
On Friday, SHFE 1705 tin opened at RMB 146,110/mt and then fluctuated narrowly. During the afternoon trading, the contract declined to RMB 145,310/mt briefly with positions opening by shorts. SHFE 1705 tin regained the lost ground soon and finally closed at RMB 145,900/mt, down RMB 1,540/mt or 1.04%. Trading volumes increased 14 to 16,420 lots and position rose 590 to 12,184. Commodities dropped across the board on Friday and the decline narrowed during the afternoon trading.
SHFE 1705 tin will trade at RMB 145,000-148,000/mt in a short term.
