NEW DELHI (Scrap Register): India containerized shredded scrap import weekly average prices declined during the week ended February 05 this year, while India's major plastic scrap prices on the Scrap Register Price Index showed a steady trend.

Indian containerized scrap import prices dropped a further $12 a ton during the week to $235 a ton CFR Nhava Sheva port. The drop has been influenced by the recent decline in the Turkish scrap market.

HMS 80:20 offers to Pakistan were heard around $240 a ton (CFR), but no buying activity was reported. Bangladesh import scrap offers were also heard to be down $15 a ton as a result of recent declines in global scrap prices.

The plastic scrap commodities like ABS(bayr), Acrylic, HD Moulding (Colour), Hips(Baff), PVC resin desi, API, C.P.W, HD Blowing, LLDP Blowing and PVC pest grade showed flat trend during the week.
