SHFE Nickel Closes with Losses (2017-2-3)

SHFE 1705 nickel started at RMB 85,800/mt and closed at RMB 84,690/mt.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 3 (SMM) – On Friday, SHFE 1705 nickel started at RMB 85,800/mt. China’s Caixin manufacturing PMI fell to 51, missing market expectation. SHFE 1705 nickel this dropped to RMB 83,570/mt and then stabilized. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1705 nickel climbed slowly and closed at RMB 84,690/mt. Trading volumes fell 67,000 to 353,000 lots and positions fell 44,000 to 662,000.
