Prices were up 600 yuan per tonne for coated products, up 500 yuan per tonne for medium and heavy Plate. Prices were also up 450 yuan per tonne for common cold-rolled products and hot-galvanized products, and up 400 yuan per tonne for hot-rolled.

As steel mills' January price discount is based on that of 2016, a mismatching occurs between partial products prices and the increase scope.
