Zinc ore supply shortages in 2016 are very severe, but this barely gave any effect on operating rates at zinc smelters, SMM said at the 2016 SMM Summit.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 15 (SMM) - Zinc ore supply shortages in 2016 are very severe, but this barely gave any effect on operating rates at zinc smelters, SMM said at the 2016 SMM Summit.

Port inventories which flowed to the market and inventories at smelters offset zinc concentrate shortages in China market.
