SHANGHAI, Nov. 14 (SMM) - Zinc consumed by China will slow in 2017, while zinc consumption in Europe, US, India and Southeast Asia countries will be better than this year, SMM said at the 2016 SMM Summit.

Global zinc deficit expanded in 2016 due to sliding ore supply. In China, supply tightness is a result of sharp drop in ore imports, decreasing imports of refined zinc and improved demand.
