Famed boxing promoter Don King has a lot to say about the upcoming U.S. presidential elections and he joined Kitco News on the sidelines of this year’s Freedom Fest to share why he will be supportive presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump. He described the real estate mogul as a leader “who is fearless, he can’t be bought, he can’t be intimidated and he can’t be coerced.” According to King, the American public should back Trump because the billionaire candidate wants to “create a whole new system” and make American great again. A corrupt system that King says needs changing and hasn’t even helped current President Barrack Obama who he also supports. “The system blocked [Obama] from anything he was trying to do…including closing down the government, that’s how deeply this goes.” (show less)

On October 9, the spot price of silver in London broke through the key level of $50 per ounce, reaching a high of $51.2230 per ounce, setting a new record high since 1980. Additionally, the LBMA spot prices against COMEX futures saw an unusual premium expansion to over $2.50 (typically just a few cents), creating a rare dislocation between futures and spot markets overseas along with a backwardation structure.
