The Caijiaying lead and zinc mine resumed operation at the end of January 2016.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 25 (SMM) – The Caijiaying lead and zinc mine resumed operation at the end of January 2016, www.metalchina.com reported.

Metal production at the mine is expected to grow by 25% in 2016 with zinc production at 50,000 tonnes (metal content) and lead production at 4,500 tonnes (metal content). And zinc and lead output should be respectively at 65,000 tonnes (metal content) and 5,000 tonnes (metal content) in 2017.

The mine shut down for safety factors in October 2015 but after the closure, dressing activities still continued for two months due to ore inventories built previously.
