SHANGHAI, Mar. 11 (SMM) – China exported 21.87 million pieces of lead-acid batteries in January 2016, a drop of 0.89% month-on-month but a gain of 13.27% year-on-year, China Customs reported.
Ignition battery exports totaled 2.28 million pieces in January, a month-on-month fall of 15.14% but a year-on-year rise of 40.28%. Top five exporters were Guangdong Dynavolt Power Technology, Changxing Haijiu Battery, Guangzhou Mintong Trading, Zhangzhou Huawei Power supply Technology and Hangzhou Huitong Foreign Trade.
Exports of other types of batteries were 19.59 million pieces in February, up 1.09% MoM and 10.78% YoY. Top five contributors were Zhongshan Foodstuffs & Aquatic Imp. & Exp. Group, Leoch Battery (Jiangsu), Anxi Lanqi Trade, Anhui Leoch Battery Technology and Zhongshan Silk Imp. & Exp. Group.
