SHFE Zinc to Edge Lower (2016-3-9)

Ferrous metals dropped by daily limits on sluggish trade data from China. Base metals rolled back early gains.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 9 (SMM) – Ferrous metals dropped by daily limits on sluggish trade data from China. Base metals rolled back early gains. LME zinc is expected to consolidate between USD 1,750-1,800/mt today. SHFE 1605 zinc will fall to RMB 13,750-14,350/mt today.

Spot #0 zinc prices will trade RMB 160-100/mt below SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices.
