SHANGHAI, Nov. 18 (SMM) – China’s copper consumption is expected to grow at a slower pace in 2016, SMM foresees at its annual summit in Shanghai.
“The growth of copper consumption in China will slow to around 2%-3% in 2016”, SMM’s copper analyst told over 500 attendees at SMM summit on Nov. 12-13.
The output of refined copper in China, on the other hand, is expected to increase to 7.9 million tonnes in 2016, the analyst predicts.
