SHANGHAI, Sept. 16 (SMM) – The “Regulations on Electric Car Battery Recycling Technologies (2015)” was issued currently for public comments during Sept. 11-24, SMM learnt.

Electric car batteries here refer to motive lithium-ion batteries and nickel-metal hydride batteries. The regulations are expected to be effect on Jan. 1, 2016.

This document will provide guidance for relative enterprises to reasonably producing and recycling of electric car batteries and encourage them to set up a recycling system link to upstream and downstream firms.

With the fast development in lithium-ion battery field, those regulations will help to regular the recycling of lithium-ion batteries as soon as possible, SMM believes.
