Xinjiang Renewable Resources Group to Build an Eco-Industrial Chain for Lead-Acid Batteries in Xinjiang

Xinjiang Renewable Resources Group has entered a contract with local government for the project of a new eco-industrial chain for lead-acid batteries in Xinjiang’s Toksun County.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 9 (SMM) – Xinjiang Renewable Resources Group has entered a contract with local government for the project of a new eco-industrial chain for lead-acid batteries in Xinjiang’s Toksun County, hexun.com reported.

Total investment will be 400 million yuan ($ 62.7 million) and the construction will be divided into 3 phases in 3 years.

The eco-industrial chain will include the scrap lead-acid battery recycling and processing as well as battery producing. Once operational, this chain will effectively address the pollution problem of scrap lead-acid batteries in Xinjiang.
