SHANGHAI, Apr. 28 (SMM) – Xinjiang plans to increase new aluminum capacities by 1.5 million tonnes in 2015, according to its latest release.
The release, regarding suggestions on measures to cope with economic downward risks, also plans to add 60,000-70,000 tonnes in new copper capacities.
In 2015’s efforts to eliminate inefficient capacities, 500,000 tonnes of iron-smelting and 300,000 tonnes of steel-making capacities will be involved.
