SHANGHAI, Apr. 14 (SMM) – India announced to cut its export rebates for ferroalloy products from 6% to 2% from Apr. 1.
Will the new policy give a chance for China's ferroalloys export to grow?
Following the cut, Indian ferroalloys exporters will have to increase export prices for their products, while falling prices of ferroalloys in China should allow export prices to drop, which would make it possible for more exports.
Price difference between the two, credits and logistics, however, will remain the major factors behind exports.
Siliconmanganese, high-carbon ferrochrome and high-carbon ferromanganese are India's main ferroalloys products.
