SHANGHAI, Dec. 5 (SMM) – A fire broke out at Mongolia’s Oyu Tolgoi copper mine Wednesday, wenhua.com.cn reported citing foreign media.
The fire has been soon brought under control and no injuries were reported, according to spokesman Brian White, but he gave no more details and the accident was still under investigation.
Some guessed copper concentrate output at the mine would be negatively affected. The actual production conditions there remained unknown thus far.
